While you're at the Street Festival, stop by the Open House at the Mosholu Montefiore Community Center (Gunhill Road and DeKalb Avenue, one block east of Jerome Avenue).
It's a great place, where my daughter has attended pre-school for 3 1/2 years. They have programs for little kids, teens, adults, and seniors. They'll be offering sample classes, fun kid events, and more tomorrow, so go check the place out.
