Last week the New York Times' David Gonzalez reported on the students of St. Catharine Academy on Williamsbridge Road near Pelham Parkway holding a walk-a-thon to raise money for women who have been victims of abuse in the Congo region of Africa.The students raised $8,000 for the women of Africa.
