Alejandra C. Delfin, founder of
Studio 889 in Hunts Point, has been named a Hometown Hero by 7Online.com and the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum for her contribution to the community with her printmaking workshop, Studio 889. She will be honored at the Intrepid in a ceremony today where The President of the United States will be the keynote speaker.
Studio 889 introduces printmaking to people throughout the community, encourages individuals of all ages and levels of experience to explore, get involved, and support the arts.
