Watch the Oscars in Style at BAAD!

If you are looking to do a little Sunday-night partying while watching the Oscars tomorrow, you are cordially invited to do so at the Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance's (BAAD!) Night of Mayhem party.

The party will kick-off in style at 7pm with a 99-cent store red carpet extravaganza... Don't worry if you don't have an original Roberto Cavalli creation to throw on - BAAD! will help you get glammed up in their one-size-fits-all gowns which have been worn by the fiercest drag queens in the BoogieDown. And yes, the red carpet will be complete with an official photographer.

An exciting highlight of the evening will be the premiere of a national commercial featuring Hunts Point's own community activist extraordinaire Majora Carter.

It's times like these I really wish it was socially acceptable to let our slightly bitchy cat Dottie babysit our 1 year old so I could get all glammed up in drag queen clothes and walk down a pretend red carpet...
