What do you know about the Perry Ave. houses? We heard that Koppell was interested in the landmarking them, but haven't yet found out why. If they're the houses on 207th between Bainbridge and Perry, they're not that remarkable are they? Maybe it's just because I lived on that block for a decade that they seem kind of ordinary to me. If you know more, let me know. Thanks.

We don't have any details about the status of it, but the stretch of houses are on Perry between 201st and Bedford Park Blvd. Those houses are really pretty (at least the ones on the west side of the street). They're the ones that are elevated with stone balconies on some of them...We were actually a little surprised that they weren't on a list of potential landmarks from the boro pres' office...We just heard about the idea at a BMCA meeting a few weeks ago. No real details...
