There are a few things that draws BoogieDowner to this unit. The first would be the size and convertible 3rd bedroom. The second would be the added half bathroom, not to mention that there is a washer/dryer in the actual unit (not just a hook-up for a washer/dryer, and not some common set of washers the whole building uses with some card you have to put money on - the pics don't lie. Well sometimes in real estate listings they do lie, but you gotta be hopeful, no?). The listing also mentions that the common charge covers the cost of one parking space. No wait list; no additional charge.
In any case, it's pretty big and if you were to actually have a functioning 3rd bedroom, the price would be pretty nice. If it was really only a two bedroom, then the price would be average or a little above average. Although condos usually fetch a few dollars more than co-ops because the buyer doesn't have to be interrogated and laid bare for a board review.
This unit is right off of Prospect Avenue at 161st Street. Transportation would be very close with the 2/5 trains at Prospect and 160th Street.
