The
New York Times has a piece called "The Voice" that runs in the first person words of an individual who has been interviewed, rather than in the voice of the reporter. This week, "The Voice" is from the Bronx and it is brought to us by our favorite
Times Bronx specialist, Katie Bindley.
The person behind the voice is the Rev. Wendell Foster, the first black man to ever be elected to a city office from Bronx. This is a great read. Enjoy!
