If You Like Your Art Fresh, Raw and Totally UN-Homogenized....

....then hop aboard the Bronx Culture Trolley Tour, people! I've been on a couple of these in the last few months and have always had a great time and been pleasantly surprised at the talent on display in the various studios and galleries, whether it be in an artist's home like Blanka Amezcua and her Bronx Blue Bedroom Project, in a more traditional venue like Haven Arts (think down-and-dirty Soho gallery pre-"gentrification") or in a top notch facility like the Longwood Art Gallery at Hostos College.

Most of these places had snacks / hors d'oeurves, beer and wine (nice touch!) and you can come and go as you please (no rigid tour here). Just hop on, hop off, follow the crowd or break off on your own. And except for dinner and drinks afterwards if you decide to stay and visit any one of the fab eateries in the Mott Haven area - the entire evening is FREE!!!

First Wednesdays of every month! Be there!
