Daily News' Tanyanika Samuels reports that the students at IS 162 in Mott Haven are making great strides in the fight against breast cancer.
Last week the students there held a fundraiser selling pink water bottles, bandannas, and charm bracelets and will be donating the proceeds to the American Cancer Society's "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walks on October 19th. The students will also participate in the walk at Orchard Beach.
