Majora Carter on NPR

South Bronx community activist Majora Carter submitted an essay for NPR's 'This I Believe' program and was selected to read it on-air.

The essay, 'This Is Home,' describes Majora's realization that she didn't need to leave her South Bronx neighborhood in search of finding a better place to live. Instead, she worked with fellow South Bronx residents to fight to improve the place where she grew up and called home.
