Seeking Advice on Baby Bike Seats

After dusting the cobwebs off of Little BoogieDowner, I've just done a post looking for a bit of advice from Bronx parents regarding baby bike seats. Specifically, I'm wondering if anyone has an opinion on front-mounted seats vs. back-mounted seats.

Click here to check out the post if you're a cyclist and have something to say.

Thanks!

Neither will protect a child if the bike is hit or even if it tips over. A helmet will not prevent a broken neck or internal injuries. Leave her home and save her life.

Wow, anonymous. Way to be a negative Nancy...

Maybe we should buy a bubble of some type to protect our daughter from pathogens and germs?

With regards to negative nancy, a few of our friends have opted for the trailer, which doesn't tip over if the bike does, and many people think is safer.

my high school math teacher also swore by it for his son, and he was a big time biker.
