New Settlement Town Hall Meeting to Discuss New Settlement School Building

Please see important town hall meeting information. Looks like many of our elected officials will be present including U.S. Congressman Jose Serrano, who I believe has been a major force in the Bank Note building revitalization in Hunts Point. His offices should be in the process of moving into the complex if they are not already moved in. His office plaque was in the hall when I took the tour some time back. The press release was sent by NYS Senator Serrano's office who. For those of you who don't know or are confused by the similar last names below, the State Senator is the son of the Congressman.

Senator Serrano will join Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Congressman Jose E. Serrano, Assemblywoman Vanessa Gibson and Councilwoman Helen Diane Foster for a town hall meeting to discuss the future operations of the New Settlement School building at its proposed site location at 1501 Jerome Avenue in the Bronx.
