NYC COUNCIL MEMBER FERNANDO CABRERA TO HONOR LOCAL LIBRARIAN OF OVER 15 YEARS

Here is a little recognition for someone who has been providing a service to our library system for over 15 years. We often talk about our teachers but what about our librarians? Congratulations to Ms. Liana Acevedo.

“It is my pleasure to honor this upstanding member of the community that exemplifies hard work, dedication, and service of excellence. Liana’s service has spanned over almost two decades and she deserves to be honored for her commitment to better her community for as long as she has,” said Councilman Cabrera.

Councilman Fernando Cabrera will be honoring Liana Acevedo, a librarian who has served the New York Public Library since 1995 and who currently works at the Jerome Park Library. She has provided mentorship, guidance, and service to many residents in the district, especially the youth.
