The Albanian Professionals and Entrepreneurs Network (APEN) Hosting Event with NYC Public Advocate Bill de Blasio

Bill de Blasio, NYC Public Advocate, will be speaking at a Young Professionals Networking event held by APEN, the Albanian Professionals and Entrepreneurs Network. He will be speaking at the Houndstooth Pub, located at 520 8th Ave (at 37th Street) on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 7pm.

Bill de Blasio has spoken out against the social service cuts in the recent city budget, and has called for more ethical behavior from business owners, landlords and city workers. Mr. de Blasio’s words will resonate with the 100 expected in attendance at tomorrow night’s gathering, as these individuals are young professionals and business owners in New York City.

APEN is an organization dedicated to promoting, supporting, and acknowledging, the social, economic and professional development of the Albanian-American Community in New York. New York City has a large Albanian-American population predominantly located in the Bronx and Staten Island.
