Vacca, HPD to Hold ‘Green’ Homeowners Night
Residents to Learn How to Make Homes More Eco-Friendly

Tomorrow evening from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, Council Member James Vacca will join the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development to present a “Green” Homeowners Night at M.S. 144 (2545 Gunther Avenue, at Allerton Ave). All area homeowners are encouraged to come and learn about various ways they can make their homes more environmentally friendly and save money on their bills at the same time. Homeowners will be able to get information on such issues as green financing, water and energy conservation, recycling, weatherization, and utility incentives.
