Belmonts to Sing at Street Renaming Honoring Belmont Community Leader Joseph Zinzi: Saturday March 19th

The following press release was sent by NYC Council Majority Leader Joel Rivera. I have never meet Mr. Zinzi but I have often heard about his contributions to the Belmont Arthur Avenue Community. Even though his passing was early, his positive impact on the community will be remembered.

In addition to the press release with details about the event, I was also just informed that the Belmonts will be performing. Please see the You Tube clip below and link about the band and it's evolution from 1950 to the present.

What a beautiful way to commemorate my dad. Thank you for allowing this to happen and for all of your kind words. It meant a lot to my family and was such a joyous occasion!
