Over the past few years, the instrumental program at Preston High School has nearly tripled in size. There has also been the development of new choirs and events focusing on the musical talents of their students. On March 4th Joanna Fusco, PHS music teacher, organized the school’s second Music in Our Schools celebration to celebrate what the National Association for Music Education has officially designated as “Music in Our Schools Month” in March. The evening culminated in a variety of performances from student-choreographed dance routines, singing duets and trios to performances by the Wind Ensemble, Step Team, Gospel Choir and A Cappella Choir.
