NYC Councilman Joel Rivera and Community Board 6 Announce Unveiling of Street Sign in Honor of FDNY Dennis Patrick O'Connell

Bronx, New York – Council Member Joel Rivera along with Community Board 6 will unveil new street sign Supervising Fire Dispatcher Dennis Patrick O'Connell Place on East 180th Street between Devoe Avenue and Bronx Park Avenue. Fire Dispatcher Dennis O’Connell was a lifelong public servant that served honorably in the FDNY from the age of 11 until the age of 56. A true Bronxite that he was, his role as a FDNY dispatcher helped fire trucks navigate more efficiently through the streets of the Bronx.
