March 10th has been designated, "National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day". In conjunction with the designation The NYC Department of Health is sponsoring an awareness drive encouraging and informing New Yorkers to get tested at one of their free screening facilities. As per their web site;

I attached a video message from Monica Sweeney MD, and additional information about the free screening center here in the Bronx. Ms. Sweeney MD, is the Assistant Commissioner of the NYC Department Bureau of HIV/Aids Prevention and Control.
