WCBS's fearless reporter Marcia Kramer headed up to Mamaroneck last week and found Senator Espada chilling at his digs there... And both of his vehicles remained parked there overnight. Meanwhile, back in the Bronx, his Bedford Park co-op unit remained seemingly empty with no answer to Kramer's knock at the door.
Perhaps the most shocking (or amusing, depending on how you look at it) part of the report is when Pedro holds up a baby, a BABY, in front of his face in the backseat of a moving vehicle to shield himself from the camera. Hmmmm, I'm thinking a car seat for the wee one would have probably been a better move. I'm just not sure why Pedro feels the need to shield himself as if he's Jessica Simpson leaving a lip-plumping disaster at her plastic surgeon's office... I mean, the man's allowed to have more than one residence as long as he primarily lives in the Boogiedown. Which he does right? Right? Winky, winky ;-)
This blogger was lucky enough to be home while Ms. Kramer was in the throes of her investigative reporting and makes a smashing appearance. Good thing I had just had my morning 40 oz. Night Flight for courage!

Way to go Erin! It's pretty darn sad that his behavior goes unchecked!
This man is a self-serving fraud. Unfortunately, I don't think his constituents will do a damn thing about it.
This is precisely the reason he's opposed to bridge tolls even though very few Bronxites drive or even own cars. How could he relate to people who live in a completely different city?
saw you on the news last night...good for you for speaking the truth. What a fraud that man is....
Thanks Indio!
Marcia Kramer is really staying on top of this. She followed Espada to Albany and another report aired tonight:

This is old news....We all knew that Pedro Espada did not live in the district and there was a case challenging his residency when he tried to run for office. The very own people in his building tried to explain this to a judge. Of course it was a defeated effort. Espada is not a resident of the 33rd SD even if he owns a residence there. He probably will be now since he is being forced to live there with all the media attention. The District Attorney of the Bronx as well as the Attorney General should do their job and investigate him immediately.
OMG....that is hilarious...*photo of pedro scaring young children courtesy of CBS* LOL LOL LOL. It really does look like he frightened that child.
