Event Reminders

'History of the Hall of Fame' presentation @ Huntington Free Library
The East Bronx History Forum will present the history of the "Hall of Fame," which is located on the campus of Bronx Community College, at their next regular meeting to be held tonight, 4/15, at 7:30 PM at the Huntington Free Library, located at 9 Westchester Square adjacent to the Apple Bank for Savings south of Benson Street. The meeting is open to the public and there is no admission charge. A big thanks to Forgotten NY for sending this event our way.

Reggae Radio Forum @ St. Luke's

A community forum will take place tomorrow, 4/16, in which panelists will discuss the question, "Do radio deejays contribute to the state of popular Jamaican music?" The People of Black Heritage, the Coalition to Preserve Reggae and ZYNC TV NEW YORK LINKZ are holding the forum at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 777 E. 222nd St. (at Barnes Ave.) in the Bronx from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. For more info, click here to view the Daily News piece we found this listing in.
