Tomorrow, 3/13, from 9am to 12pm, the Office of the Bronx Borough President, along with the Jewish Community Relations Council of NY, invites Bronx residents to attend 'Navigating the Fiscal Crisis: a Forum for Non-Profits' at Hostos Community College (Savoy Building, 2nd Floor, 120 E. 149th Street).
The forum will educate attendees about the challenges facing non-profits and communities during the economic crisis; provide a networking forum for professionals; present opportunities to utilize networks, build coalitions, create partnerships and develop alternative and in-kind resources.
Some of the presenters are: Linda Cox, executive director, Bronx River Alliance; Ilene Marcus, chief of staff, MET Council; and William Smith, President, Aging in America.
