Shake Ya Groove Thang for a Good Cause

Besides serving the noble purpose of raising money for the environment, this party aboard a cruise ship to benefit the Office of Recycling and Outreach next week just sounds like a damn good time.

Here are the details for anyone interesting in attending or otherwise supporting this uber-important cause:

Please join the Council on the Environment of New York City (CENYC) at its first fundraiser to help support the activities of its Office of Recycling Outreach and Education (OROE) honoring:

Honorable Congressman Michael McMahon
Edward Skyler, NYC Deputy Mayor of Operations
Anthony Pratt, CEO Pratt Industries

Join CENYC aboard the Queen of Hearts, a 3-level Paddle-wheel ship, for a cocktail cruise on the Hudson River and New York Harbor, featuring views of Manhattan and wonderful Greenmarket-inspired tastings. We will also have a silent auction, music, dancing, and great giveaways! PIER 40 West Side Hwy & W Houston St.

Tickets are $75, with $50 tickets offered for government employees, students, greening groups, and nonprofit employees.
