Botanical Garden Turkeys make it through another Thanksgiving

Here are some turkeys that survived another Thanksgiving day in the Bronx. They can be found on the grounds at the New York Botanical Garden. I usually see them by the book/gift store as you enter the main entrance. It’s amazing to see what wild turkeys look like compared to the ones bread for eating. I bet these turkeys can actually fly a few feet.

"Bread" is what you make the turkey sandwich with. "Bred" is the past tense of "breed," which is what turkeys do
