This multifamily house in what I guess you would call South Fordham or East Tremont has just been reduced
by $70K. I'm sure that the person trying to sell this is in heat to move it. $70K is no small chop, especially when the thing was only at $350K to begin with (well, $450K, when it originally came on the market in November).To be honest, I was not expecting much from the unit when I saw the price point. My bargain basement real estate scouring brings me into contact with some really god-awful listings, but this is not as bad as it could be. The exterior looks decent (maybe I'd be brave enough to say charming? Nah...not that far). The interior looks old and has what looks like stank old carpet everywhere, but this is no knockdown.

rry; the streets aren't filled with sunshine, ponies, and rainbows, but 6 bedrooms is a hell of a lot of house. You would certainly have some rental opportunities unless your family was like the Duggars.The B/D is located at 183rd and the Concourse, which is a few blocks from this house. Unfortunately, the D super-express in the am/pm rush does not stop at 183rd, so you'd have to walk a few extra blocks south to East Tremont or take the B at 183rd and transfer to the express D at East Tremont.
