RMHA Annual Gala
RMHA (Riverdale Mental Health Association), an award-winning not-for-profit agency, celebrates 50 years of providing low-cost mental health treatment and services to thousands in the Bronx, Manhattan and Westchester, with a benefit gala at the New York Botanical Garden, Thu., May 14, honoring broadcaster Scott Clark and Horace Mann School's Caring-in-Action program. 2009 Bike to Work Day This Friday!
Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. invites all Bronxites to participate in Bike Month NYC 2009, part of an annual national celebration of bicycling which takes place in May. The short ceremonial ride is intended to draw attention to the benefits of commuting to work by bike. It kicks off at 7:00 am from Poe Cottage located at Grand Concourse & Kingsbridge Road. After the ride the Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. will host a complementary breakfast at the new Lou Gehrig Plaza at 161st Street & the Grand Concourse. Click here for more info.
