Park Cleanup a Success

Despite the rainy weather this past Saturday, Bedford Park's 'It's My Park! Day' was a huge success. Volunteers came armed with rain gear ready to help with various cleanup projects along the Mosholu Parkway.

In addition to general litter removal, groups also worked on graffiti removal (pictured below) and the weeding and rejuvenating of a garden area in the 'gully' near Webster Avenue (pictured above).Special shout outs go to the NYPD Explorers youth program volunteers, as well as Barbara Stronczer for all the work she did to organize the Bedford Mosholu Community Association's cleanup projects for the day.
