They had a great post about our favorite State Senator (and neighbor?) and how he is one of only two newly elected State Senators who has not set up a district office yet. Shame on you, Pedro. Get to work for your constituents and stop politically extorting committee chairmanships and the lulus that come with them.
They also had a great report on last night's heated community meeting about the new transitional homeless shelter on Briggs Ave. in Bedford Park. BoogieDowner had full intentions to attend, but didn't get home from work until well after 8pm. I swear I'm not a negligent community member!
