UncommonGoods Conducts Jewelry Design Contest

Here is a company seeking new designer talent through a clever contest that both promotes their products and helps them recruit talented designers. For any designers out there who are interested, they are offering a $500 prize and a possible vendor contract.

Good luck to those choosing to participate in the contest. Additional information on the contest can be found by logging onto the web address provided.

Dear BoogieDowner;

UncommonGoods is looking for our next great jewelry designer – we’re accepting submissions for unique pieces and fresh designs until midnight on August 31 here: http://www.uncommongoods.com/designs/jewelry. This is a great opportunity for your creative, talented readers to win $500 and possibly sign a vendor contract with UncommonGoods. We’ll share the designs we like with our customer community using our community voting app, then our panel of judges (Brooklyn artist Kiel Mead, style & beauty expert Jenn Falik, and our own jewelry & accessories buyer Erin Fergusson) will choose the winning design from the top five vote-getting finalists.

Here are some cuff links I found on their web site that definitely proves they think outside the box, take risks and have original products.
