Parkchester Communtiy Support Agriculture: Food Co-op Shares Currently Available

Parkchester CSA Sign-up Is Now In Progress!

Community Support Agriculture - CSA - is a great way to way to buy local, seasonal produce from a local farmer and help a small farm stay in business.
Becoming a member of Parckester CSA means you’re purchasing a “share” of the vegetable harvest from the W. Rogowski Farm, in the Black Dirt region of Pine Island in Orange County, NY. You will receive each week for 23 weeks from our farmer a variety of Certified Naturally Grown vegetables (usually 7-10 different types).
Distribution will happen every Saturday from June 16 to November 17 2012 from 10 am to 12 pm at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1891 McGraw Ave. in Parkchester. The cost is $435 for the 23-week season, with split shares available for those who would like to split a share with a friend. This price includes a 10 dollar admin fee to be collected on the start date of the CSA.
