Bronx Culture Trolley Returns August 3rd

The Bronx Culture Trolley is back starting August 3rd. The venues and attractions for this Wednesdays tours are listed below. The Trolley is free to the public. For additional information the please call the number listed below.

Hop on the trolley and enjoy attractions at some of the hottest cultural spots along the lower Grand Concourse. Catch the trolley on the first Wednesday evening of each month (except January & September) at Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos, on the campus of Hostos Community College at 450 Grand Concourse. The trolley departs at 5:30, 6:30, and 7:30pm for other venues in the South Bronx Cultural Corridor. The trolley ride and admission to participating venues along its route are free. The Bronx Culture Trolley vehicle is wheelchair accessible.

Longwood Art Gallery@ Hostos Exhibitions (5:00-8:30pm): Born Again: A Lebanese-Dominican Dominican York is born again as a Bronxite and En Castellano and in other Languages: Video Artists from AndalucĂ­a and the Bronx.

Bronx Museum of the Arts Bronx Storytelling by Teens (6:00-7:30pm) Tour the Museum and View the Exhibitions (5:45-7:45pm): Bronx Calling: The First AIM Biennial, Taking AIM – The Business of Being an Artist, Alexandre Arrechea: Orange Tree, Urban Archives: Our Town Pictures of the Bronx by Emilio Sanchez, and Lobby-For-The-Time-Being.

Gordon Parks Gallery Exhibition (5:00-8:00): Bridging the Gap: Photography by Gordon Parks and Toni Parks.

Bronx Art Space Exhibition (5:30-9:00):Outsiders Inside The Bronx.

Sweetwater's Bar & GrillKaraoke and Fine Food (8:30 – ) Wind down your trolley night with some fine food and drink and some “singing” fun in Sweetwater’s karaoke lounge.

Directions to Hostos: Hostos Community College is located at 450 Grand Concourse near 149th Street in the Bronx. Take the 2, 4 & 5 trains or Bx1, Bx19 buses to Grand Concourse and 149 Street.
