NYU College of Dentistry Offering Free Dentistry Services to the Community

If you have children between the ages of 6 and 14 the following press release should be helpful. NYUCD is providing free dental services starting this Thursday.

Where: 2111 Crotona Avenue, Bronx

Bronx, New York – Councilman Joel Rivera in conjunction with New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD) will be at P.S. 57 Crescent School located on 2111 Crotona Avenue on March 15th, at 10:00am as part of their month long free dental screening program alternating between P.S. 57 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursday from 9am to 4pm and on Wednesdays at P.S. 163 located on 2075 Webster Avenue from 10am to 8pm. This service is available to children from ages 6 months to 14 years old from 9am to 2:30pm for the school and 3pm to 8pm for the community.

As a leading source for dental care in New York City, NYUCD trains over 1,600 students annually with half of the student population representing women and minorities. The NYUCD staff, part of the Community Outreach program, will be on hand for dental screenings including examinations and teaching youth on proper oral hygiene.
