Bronx River Alliance Organizes “Thriller on the Bronx River”: Costumed Canoe Ride Scheduled for October 29th

Here is another Halloween inspired event that should good for our environment and a lot of fun. It's a costumed canoe ride were participants collect debris as their flotilla heads south on the Bronx River. Kudos to whoever though of this idea. October 29, 2010 (11:00 am- 2:00 pm)
Start at 219th, end at Mitsubishi Riverwalk

A Costumed Clean Up
Canoe through the Bronx River Forest, past the Botanical Garden and end at the Bronx Zoo dressed as your favorite character, listen to river tales of mystery told by Stephen Devillo, all the while filling your trick or treat bag with bottles, cans and other items that don't belong.

Don't worry, not even Charlie Brown will get a rock this year! Canoe in costume 11:00 -2pm
Costumes a must!!!!!!!
