We hope that these signs will dissuade the parkway users from making the Mosh less safe and a little dirtier with illegal grilling.

I wish it would say no barbecuing at all on the parkway. There were still people barbecuing this weekend not far from the signs. And they made a huge mess and left it like pigs. It was still there this morning a day and a half later. I'm talking about the area down in the pit of Mosholu Parkway and Marion Ave (where the stairs lead down). So gross. I'm not sure how strictly the no barbecuing is enforced as I have seen cops look the other way when there is barbecuing out in the open on other areas of the parkway.

Mmmm. These signs are needed on Pelham Parkway, too.
Maybe they should also be in Spanish or at least have a drawing of a grill in a circle with a diagonal line through it.
