"Bodega Down Bronx"

There will be a screening of a new documentary entitled "Bodega Down Bronx" tonight at the CUNY Law School Auditorium (61-25 Main Street) in Flushing, Queens.

Created by the Center for Urban Pedagogy and students from New Settlement's Bronx Helpers, the film investigates bodegas in the South Bronx and their impact on the surrounding communities.

Hopefully this will be screened in the BoogieDown at some point? Or maybe it already has been and we're just a little behind the curve.

Trailer is below...

They should start making heavy corn syrup products from Kraft, Mars, etc... illegal. It's disgusting addictive stuff that makes people sluggish and brain dead. Shame on America for letting this stuff be so readily available, heavily marketed and misunderstood. This is just a another form of big corporate greed targeting poor people. Shame!

Real fruit and vegetables are awesome!
