The South Bronx Dog Owners Group has been working tirelessly to create the first ever dog run in St. Mary's Park. They will be hosting a fundraiser on May 16th at Bruckner Bar & Grill and all are invited! There will be games and prizes, as well as celebrity appearances. Check out the flyer below for more info.

This is great! Congrats South Bronx dog owners!
Yes congrats! I also heard that the Bronx Parks Commissioner gave his final approval for the Dog Run, and they are estimating June inauguration!
They just need funds..so anyone that wants to come down and help the group..please do so! Animal Feed (Bronx's Largest Pet supply shop on 163rd and Park) will be raffling 4 $75 gift certificates and the Pet Pampering Patrol will be raffling a free grooming session!
A DJ, celebrities...it will be fun!
This is great...now Melrose will have access to TWO dog runs :)
