NORTHEAST COMMUNITY BANK’S BRONX BRANCH ANNOUNCES ANNUAL TOY DRIVE FOR NEEDY CHILDREN

NorthEast Community Bank is organizing a toy drive in conjunction with Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Anyone interested in contributing to their effort should read the details listed below.

BRONX, NY – NorthEast Community Bank’s Bronx branch in Fordham at

590 East 187th Street has announced its Annual Toy Drive, which will run until December 23, 2011, when all collected items donated by the community and the Bank will be given to needy children throughout Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish.

The branch has posted a sign and has made a collection box available for easy drop-off. NorthEast Community Bank made the first donation to the box with toys. Suggested gift donations should be new, unopened, and unwrapped and include stuffed animals, board games, and other assorted toys for younger children.

“We are happy to join in the holiday cheer during this season of giving by helping less fortunate children have a happier holiday. We hope our customers and community join in the toy drive,” said Betty Giordani, Branch Manager.
