Free Mammography Screenings

Council Member James Vacca has teamed up with the American Italian Cancer Foundation to offer free mammography screenings for women over 40 years of age this Monday, February 23rd from 9am to 5pm.

The Mobile Mammography Van will be stationed just outside Council Member Vacca's district office (3040 Tremont Avenue) and will be staffed by medical professionals from Multi-Diagnostic Services, Inc.

Just last month Council Member Vacca sponsored "Day Out to Work Out," which featured fitness clubs and gyms throughout the Bronx offering free classes and training sessions to Bronx residents. Kudos to Council Member Vacca for bringing yet another health and wellness initiative to the BoogieDown!
