Our 2012 season begins with the 13th annual Havana Film Festival New York (HFFNY), April 12-20.

Description: Havana Film Festival Nw York 2012There are special events on April 20 at the Bronx Museum of the Arts and April 20-22 at the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens. With a focus on Latin America, the Caribbean, and Latinos in the United States, the festival will feature more than 50 highly anticipated and influential films covering countries including Cuba, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Peru, Venezuela, and the United States. This year the LMEC welcomes three events to its roster: LatinMixx Conference (July), Hola Awards (October), and the Latino Trendsetter Awards (November).
