Assemblyman Carl Heastie, Bronx District Attorney Robert Johnson, Diedra Scott and Karen Washington to Be Honored at Black History Month Celebration

As far as I am concerned the father son Serrano political team made another great call in who they choose to honor during their Black History Month celebration. I have had the honor of knowing both Ms. Diedra Scott and Assemblyman Carl Heastie personally. Ms. Scott from her involvement in various borough wide art programs and Carl Heastie from my youth when we were Boy Scouts in Troop 164, some twenty somewhat years ago. For a borough sometimes rightfully criticized for unscrupulous leadership, it is good to hear all the names of the recipients to be honored by Congressman and State Senator Serrano.
