Round'em Up

Here are some Bronx-related stories which we've rounded up you, our lovely readers, while trolling the interweb with our horse and lasso this fine morning:

In what is hopefully the beginning of the end for Pedro Espada Jr., the AG's office says there is strong evidence that he has broken the law with shady financial dealings related to his nonprofit, Soundview HealthCare Network [New York Times, Daily News (with editorial here), Albany Times Union, BxNN]

Aldus Street and Southern Blvd. will serve as a meeting point this Saturday at 12pm for those wishing to donate clothes, non-perishable, and money for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti [BxNN]

The interweb is having a field day with posts about a house that burned down in the Bronx this Tuesday which was the site of a massive marijuana growing operation [NY Mag]

There will be a wine tasting event later this month at NYY Steak at Yankee Stadium [MLB.com]
