Without a car you're pretty much stranded. I used to work in midtown and took Metro North every day. 25-30 minutes to GCT is great. The 8:36 train was busy but you could usually get a seat. If you work after "rush hour" Metro North trains run once an hour. Taking the subway home is a pain in the ass because you still need to catch a bus. The extra $70 or so for MN was definitely worth it. There's also the bus that takes you into the city- or at least used to be.

Clean neighborhood, but very limited. Tons of bars, not many restaurants and parking can be a bitch.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2149362212571632662.post-69509952490938789772009-03-18T10:44:00.000-04:002009-03-18T10:44:00.000-04:00Re: Commute from Webster Ave. You can get the 16 b...Re: Commute from Webster Ave. You can get the 16 bus on Webster to the No. 4 train. Or, the 31 bus on 233rd to the No. 5 train on White Plains Rd. The 34 bus runs on Katonah to the No. 4 train. The 34bus is not accessible on Webster Ave. Or the alternative, Metro NorthUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01278186320648470143noreply@blogger.com
