Round'em Up

Here are some Bronx-related stories we've rounded up you, our lovely readers, while trolling the interweb with our horse and lasso this fine morning:

A Fordham professor's take on the vanishing act of America's middle class [LA Progressive]

Sewell Chan's report on the reinstating of the Campaign Finance Board's fines against Espada [New York Times]

Not everybody hates the Bx12 Select Bus Service [Daily News]

Want to stop smoking in 2009? Take a trip to Arthur Avenue for an e-cigarette. [New York Post]

James Vacca for Bronx Borough Prez? [New York Post]

Numbers say suspension of alternate side parking in Riverdale may not be so cool after all [Riverdale Ramblings] (BoogieDowner Note: Numbers, schnumbers. We don't care what the facts say. Lessening of alternate side cleaning is a sweet deal.)

The MTA came to it's senses and is reinstating the Bx12 stop at Fordham and Sedgwick for the SBS bus route. The machines are up and I guess the stop will be functional soon.

Looks like the community won one.
